Welcome to TemplaDent. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TemplaDent platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

1. Platform Description

TemplaDent is a digital implantology planning, guidance, and workflow support platform intended exclusively for licensed dental professionals. The Platform provides digital planning assistance, case review, workflow structuring, and mentoring-style guidance related to implantology procedures.

TemplaDent is not a healthcare provider, dental clinic, or medical device manufacturer.

2. Eligibility and Professional Requirement

Access to the Platform is strictly limited to:

  • Licensed dentists, implantologists, or dental clinics
  • Dental professionals legally authorized to perform implantology procedures in their jurisdiction

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You hold a valid professional dental license
  • You are legally permitted to perform implant-related procedures
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful

TemplaDent reserves the right to approve, restrict, suspend, or revoke access at its sole discretion.

3. Scope of Services

TemplaDent provides:

  • Digital implant planning support
  • Case review and validation
  • Workflow guidance (including full-guided and partial-guided approaches)
  • Educational and mentoring-style input when applicable

TemplaDent does not:

  • Manufacture implants, surgical guides, sleeves, drills, or medical devices
  • Sell or distribute implant systems or surgical instruments
  • Perform clinical procedures
  • Replace formal implantology training or certification

All services are supportive and advisory in nature only.

4. Clinical Responsibility and Professional Judgment

All clinical decisions, surgical execution, patient assessment, treatment planning, and outcomes remain solely the responsibility of the treating clinician.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You retain full responsibility for all clinical decisions
  • You independently verify all plans before clinical use
  • You determine the appropriateness of any workflow, guided or partial-guided, for each patient

TemplaDent does not assume responsibility for surgical outcomes, complications, or clinical results.

5. Partial-Guided and Workflow-Based Approaches

The Platform may support or reference workflow-based or partial-guided implantology techniques. These workflows:

  • Are provided as guidance only
  • Do not replace hands-on training or clinical judgment
  • Must be adapted by the clinician based on experience, anatomy, and clinical conditions

The clinician remains responsible for verifying depth, angulation, safety margins, and implant placement protocols according to the selected implant system.

6. Medical Devices and Manufacturing Disclaimer

TemplaDent does not design, manufacture, certify, sell, or distribute:

  • Implants
  • Surgical instruments
  • Sleeves or guided surgery kits
  • Medical devices of any kind

Any reference to third-party systems, implant brands, or workflows is informational only and does not constitute endorsement or instruction to use specific products.

7. Data, Case Uploads, and Patient Information

By uploading CBCT scans, STL files, images, or case data, you confirm that:

  • You have the legal right and patient consent to use and share such data
  • All uploaded data complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws
  • Patient-identifying information is handled in accordance with your legal obligations

You remain solely responsible for data accuracy and lawful use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • TemplaDent shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
  • TemplaDent does not guarantee clinical success, outcomes, or risk reduction

Use of the Platform is at your own professional risk.

9. Access Control and Termination

TemplaDent reserves the right to:

  • Approve or deny access requests
  • Limit access to certain features
  • Suspend or terminate access without prior notice if Terms are violated

10. Intellectual Property

All content, workflows, text, and materials provided by TemplaDent remain the intellectual property of TemplaDent unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, redistribute, or commercialize Platform content without written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Croatia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

TemplaDent may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
